BRITT <br /> REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> FILED Apr 15, 2024 <br /> AT 09:13:32 am <br /> BOOK 00004 <br /> START PAGE 0002 <br /> END PAGE 0003 <br /> INSTRUMENT # 02263 <br /> EXCISE TAX (None) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br /> OF THE LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Michael L. <br /> Cranford to rezone 3.38 +/- acres comprised of two (2) tracts of land addressed as 2909 Jefferson <br /> Davis Hwy, further identified as 9630-27-6451-00 and 9630-27-4548-00, from Highway <br /> Commercial (HQ zoning district to Light Industrial (LI) zoning district; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Planning Board of Lee County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on February <br /> 19, 2024 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br /> Official Zoning Map of Lee County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br /> COMMISSIONERS: <br /> The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone 3.38 +/- acres of two (2) tracts of land <br /> addressed as 2909 Jefferson Davis Hwy further identified as 9630-27-6451-00 and 9630-27- <br /> 4548-00, from Highway'Commercial (HC) zoning district to Light Industrial (LI) zoning district. <br /> See Exhibit A included for reference. <br /> In making this decision, the Lee County Board of Commissioners hereby determined that the <br /> request was not consistent with the Plan SanLee long range plan designation of Countryside <br /> because light industrial zoning was typically not found on agricultural and undeveloped lands. <br /> A O E his tLw 4th day of March 2024 <br /> Chairman, Lee County Board of Commissioners <br /> TTES ® s M <br /> OV jASTO FORM: <br /> ® A <br /> Hailey Hall, C k o th a hitr ey Par"rish, Lee County Attorney <br /> 0 � <br /> CA�0 , <br />
