Q`a` <br />.s _2� <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />HONORING COMMISSIONER <br />NATHAN "ED" PASCHAL <br />WHEREAS, Nathan "Ed" Paschal was elected to his first term as a member of the Lee <br />County Board of Commissioners in December 1990, serving until December 1994, and <br />was then elected for a second term in December 1996 as an at -large representative; and <br />WHEREAS, Ed served as Vice -Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for two terms <br />in 1998 and 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, Ed served in several leadership positions during his tenure, including the <br />positions on the BRAC Commission, the Library Board of Trustees, and the Lee County <br />Parks and Recreation Advisory Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Ed has demonstrated a deep commitment to his position as a County <br />Commissioner and to the citizens of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, his years of service have been marked by his dedication to the best interest <br />of the community, and he has worked constantly for the betterment of Lee County <br />citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Nathan "Ed" Paschal for his 20 years of <br />distinguished service as a Lee County Commissioner and extends to him their best <br />wishes in all his future endeavors. <br />Presented this 19th day of November 2012. <br />ohnA. rumpto , County Manager <br />ATTEST: <br />M.
