BRITT <br /> REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> FILED Mar 13, 2023 <br /> AT 02:23:37 pm <br /> BOOK 00003 <br /> START PAGE 0896 <br /> END PAGE 0896 <br /> INSTRUMENT # 01432 <br /> EXCISE TAX (None) <br /> fAT.IM <br /> X <br /> PROCLAMATION HONORING RETIRING EMPLOYEE JOYCE MCGEHEE <br /> AND HER YEARS OF SERVICE TO LEE COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Joyce McGehee has worked in local government for more than 19 years; and <br /> WHEREAS, after starting her local government career with Moore County as Human Resources <br /> Director for three years, Mrs. McGehee joined the Lee County Human Resources team as director <br /> in 2006; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mrs. McGehee and the Human Resources department have been instrumental in a <br /> number of projects, including the STARS Rewards & Recognition employee program, employee <br /> evaluations, Wellness Clinic, wellness program, new employee orientation process, employee <br /> newsletter, Employee Appreciation Day and other employee activities, criminal history <br /> background checks for employees and volunteers, Health Savings Account (HSA) County <br /> insurance plan, as well as writing the Lee County Safety policies; and <br /> WHEREAS,Joyce McGehee's genuine care and dedication to Lee County Government has been <br /> prevalent throughout her years of service providing meaningful and significant impact to the lives <br /> of County employees during her tenure; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to congratulate the <br /> achievements of Mrs. McGehee and to express appreciation to her for her dedicated service and <br /> many contributions to Lee County; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that <br /> it recognizes and honors the more than 16 years Joyce McGehee has invested in furthering the <br /> mission and purpose of the Lee County Government and it wishes for Mrs. McGehee continued <br /> success in all her future endeavors. <br /> Presented this 9th day of January, 2023. <br /> 'rk 15.
