BRITT <br /> REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> FILED Mar 30, 2022 <br /> AT 04:22:37 pm <br /> BOOK 00003 <br /> START PAGE 0819 <br /> END PAGE 0820 <br /> INSTRUMENT # 02560 <br /> EXCISE TAX (None) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br /> OF LEE COUNTY,NORTH CAROLINA <br /> WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Circle K <br /> Stores, Inc. to rezone a 0.45 acre tract of land developed with a single-family home addressed <br /> 118 Perkinson Road, identified as Tax Parcel 9644-57-0090-00 as depicted on Lee County Tax <br /> Map 9644.02 Road from Residential Restricted(RR)to Highway Commercial (HC); and, <br /> WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Planning Board of the Lee County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County conducted a public hearing on January <br /> 24, 2022 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County approves the request to amend the <br /> Official Zoning Map of Lee County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE COUNTY OF LEE: <br /> The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone a 0.45 acre tract of land developed with a <br /> single-family home addressed 118 Perkinson Road, identified as Tax Parcel 9644-57-0090-00 as <br /> depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9644.02 Road from Residential Restricted (RR) to Highway <br /> Commercial (HC). See Exhibit A included for reference. <br /> In making this decision, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee hereby acknowledges <br /> that the proposed zoning map amendment is consistent with the Plan SanLee long range plan <br /> designation of Maker District because this district is supportive of commercial uses, such as <br /> convenience retail, with public water and sewer and lists Highway Commercial as a current <br /> zoning district. <br />
