LEE COUNTY <br />• m (D D 4© O n b • IS O D <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />2006 - 03 <br />Resolution <br />Concerning Contract for Administration of 2005 CDBG <br />Scatter Site Housing Assistance Project. <br />WHEREAS, this board, in adopting the items on the consent agenda for the meeting held on <br />January 26, 2005, on the recommendation of the Community Development Staff, accepted the <br />low bid of CMR Services, Inc. for consultant services for the Fiscal Year 2005 Scattered Site <br />Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the memoranda accompanying the bid recommendation stated that a contract <br />would be provided to Lee County for the staff to review following the acceptance of the bid at <br />the January 26, 2005 meeting, but no contract has been submitted; and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County is on a three year rotating basis for grant eligibility for Scattered Site <br />Housing Assistance depending on successful completion of prior projects and funding <br />availability and no funds have been received for the 2005 project. <br />• <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the resolution accepting the bid of CMR Services, Inc. for consultant services for <br />the 2005 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Assistance Project is hereby rescinded; <br />2. That all of the bids received in response to the Request for Proposals for consultant <br />services for the 2005 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Assistance Project are hereby <br />rejected; and <br />3. That the Department of Community Development is hereby directed to cease all <br />activities in connection with the 2005 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Assistance Project <br />until further orders from the County Manager. <br />Adopted the 23 day of January 2006. <br />Att st: <br />�Q <br />aynell M.
