2006 - , <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />PROCLAMATION <br />J. FLETCHER ROSSER DAY IN LEE COUNTY <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 2006 <br />WHEREAS, John Fletcher Rosser was born and raised in Lee County <br />and served on numerous boards and clubs, and received numerous <br />awards throughout the years; and <br />WHEREAS, John Fletcher Rosser was instrumental in starting The <br />Breadbasket and worked diligently for this non - profit organization <br />dedicated to feeding the needy; and <br />• WHEREAS, the citizens of Lee County lost a truly valuable public <br />servant and friend when Mr. Rosser passed away. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, We the Lee County Board of. Commissioners <br />do proclaim September 22, 2006 as <br />"J. Fletcher Rosser Day" <br />in Lee County to honor Mr. Rosser in memory of his years of service. <br />Adopted this 18 day of September 2006. <br />Herbert A.
