2011 <br />L EE C <br />xNMKUTi 'Y.��� <br />Committ Toda <br />RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION <br />(Investment number 04- 01- 06546) <br />WHEREAS, Lee County previously has applied for a grant from the United States <br />Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration for the purpose of <br />investment in public infrastructure and building renovation to support the expansion of <br />Caterpillar's Lee County Campus, and <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration has informed Lee County that its <br />application for a grant has been approved in the amount of $800,000.00 (EIGHT HUNDRED <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS), and <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration requires, as a condition of <br />receiving the grant funds, that an authorized representative of the County execute a "Financial <br />• Assistance Award" agreement binding the County to comply with certain terms and conditions <br />in the administration of the grant and the use of grant funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESSOLVED, by the Lee County Board of Commissioners as <br />follows: <br />1. The terms and conditions placed on the County in the administration and use of <br />the grant funds, as set out in the "Financial Assistance Award," are accepted; <br />2. The Chair is authorized to execute the "Financial Assistance Award" on behalf of <br />the Board and the County. <br />Adopted this the a6 ay of August, 2011. <br />�6 <br />Li A.
