BRITT <br />REGISTER OF DEEDS <br />FILED Apr 19, 2018 <br />AT 02:22:48 pm <br />BOOK 00003 <br />START PAGE <br />0358 <br />END PAGE <br />0358 <br />INSTRUMENT # <br />02199 <br />EXCISE TAX <br />(None) <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF HOUSE BILL 5S1 <br />ENTITLED AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW AND CONSTITUTION OF NORTH CAROLINA TO <br />PROVIDE BETTER PROTECTIONS AND SAFEGUARDS TO VICTIMS <br />WHEREAS, House Bill 551, entitled An Act to Amend the Law and Constitution of North Carolina <br />to Provide Better Protections and Safeguards to Victims, has been introduced to the General <br />Assembly of North Carolina; and, <br />WHEREAS, Representatives Dollar, R. Turner, Destin Hall, and Earle are the primary sponsors of <br />House Bill 551; and, <br />WHEREAS, House Bill 551 gives more protections to victims of crimes under the Constitution of <br />North Carolina; and, <br />WHEREAS, House Bill 551 has passed by a majority vote in the North Carolina House of <br />Representatives. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners that the <br />Lee County Board of County Commissioners supports the legislation under House Bill 551 and <br />authorizes a copy of this resolution sent to the delegates of Lee County at the General <br />Assembly. <br />ATTEST <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Amy Dalrymple, Chair <br />Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />
