F,0On J9 PACE 8 ,5=a MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN IT'S CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 MARCH 15. 2004 A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Flillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and Amy L. J Stevens. Chairman Hincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as Secretary of the meeting. Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Aye: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Chairman Hincks moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which consisted of the following item: Minutes of the February 16, 2004, meeting Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered revisions to the ordinance for mandatory water taps that was adopted at the December 15, 2003, meeting. After some discussion, Chairman Hincks moved to approve the revised Ordinance to Require Owners of Property Developed After Enactment to Connect Premises to the Lee County Water System, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Nay: Matthews The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote.
