r <br />19 F'cl 73."<, <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN IT'S CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OFTHE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. l <br />DECEMBER 15, 2003 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I was <br />held in the Commissioners' Room, 106 Hillerest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. <br />Commissioners present were W. Chad Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. <br />Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal. Robert T. Reives, and Amy L. Stevens. <br />Chairman 1-fincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as Secretary of <br />the meeting. <br />J Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, llincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which consisted <br />of the following item: <br />� Minutes from the July 21, 2003, meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a mandatory ordinance to require property owners of property <br />developed after enactment to connect to the district's water system. Public Works Director <br />Kenny Cole outlined the ordinance and answered questions from Board members. After some <br />discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to approve an Ordinance To Require Owners Of <br />Propert Developed AJier Lnaetment To Connect Such Premises With The District's Water <br />System. Upon a vote. the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal. Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vole. <br />
