19 PILE 14 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN IT'S CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO <br />DECEIMBER 2, 2002 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I <br />J was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillerest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad <br />Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lennnond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, <br />Robert T. Reives and Amy L. Stevens. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as <br />Secretary of the meeting. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />Minutes from the November 4, 2002 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stevens <br />Nav: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered a contract extension for T. A. Loving Company. Public <br />Works Director Kenny Cole told the board that T. A. Loving Company had requested a <br />sixty (60) day extension for the Water Project. Mr. Cole, along with Hobbs, Upchurch & <br />Associates feel that the project can be completed within thirty (30) days. After some <br />
