buOX - 9 PAGE 01 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN IT'S CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />SEPTEMBER 16, 2002 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I <br />was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />V Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad <br />Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, <br />and Robert T. Reives. Commissioner John I. Sauls was absent. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as <br />Secretary of the meeting. <br />The board considered additional agenda items. Commissioner Adams moved to <br />approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chainnan ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• Minutes of the August 19, 2002 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered bids for repainting of the Tramway water tank. Public Works <br />Director Kenny Cole told the board he had received the following bids: <br />
