MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />APRIL 1, 2002 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 <br />was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, at 8:00 a.m. on said date. Commissioners present were W. <br />Chad Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. <br />Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and John I. Sauls. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as <br />Secretary of the meeting. <br />Commissioner John Sauls delivered the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance. <br />The board considered additional items. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve <br />the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />C Minutes of the March 18, 2002 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks moved that the Board of Commissioners, sitting as the governing <br />body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1, proceed to hold a public hearing <br />
