ego;; i8 vacF 759 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. I <br />FEBRUARY 18, 2002 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 <br />was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad <br />Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, <br />Robert T. Reives, and John 1. Sauls. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Clerk to the Board Gaynell M. Lee acted as <br />Secretary of the meeting. <br />The board considered additional agenda items. Commissioner Adams moved to <br />approve the agenda as printed. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• Minutes of the October 22, 2001 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered a resolution for the extension of water bonds. Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter told the board that the water bonds for the Phase II Water Project need <br />to be extended for an additional two years. After sonic discussion, Chairman Flincks <br />moved to approve a resolution extending the issuance of bonds from seven years to ten <br />
