BON 1$ PAGE '677 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO <br />TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2001 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. <br />1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad <br />Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, <br />Robert T. Reives, and John 1. Sauls. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Gaynell M. Lee Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners acted as Secretary of the meeting. <br />The Board considered additional agenda items. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle <br />asked that the Board consider a Development Agreement between Jeffery and Beth Yew <br />and the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1. Commissioner Reives asked that <br />the Board discuss the eighteen proposed water customers on Lower Moncure Road. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the agenda with the above additions. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and SaLlls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• Minutes of the December 4, 2000 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />ill <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />
