BOOK f$ P!CE <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. I <br />DECEMBER 4, 2000 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. <br />1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were W. Chad <br />Adams, Flerbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal, <br />Robert T. Reives, and John 1. Suits. <br />Chairman Herb Flincks presided and Gaynell M. Lee Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners acted as Secretary of the meeting. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the agenda. Upon a vote, the results <br />%vere as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lennond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• Minutes of the November 6, 2000 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a communications site lease for the Tramway and Eakes <br />Roads water tanks. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board that Nextel <br />Communications has asked for revisions to the proposed lease the County currently has at <br />the Eakes Road water tank and wants to execute a similar lease at the Tramway Water <br />
