t�J <br />acX f8 PAGE 250 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN' ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />NOVEMBER 6, 2000 <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District <br />No. 1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of <br />the Lee County Board of Commissioners held on said date. Commissioners present were <br />W. Chad Adams, F. Hubert Gamer, Herbert A. Hincks, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. <br />Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and John 1. Sauls. <br />Chairman Hincks presided and Gaynell M. Lee, Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners acted as Secretary of the meeting. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the agenda. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sall15 <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />Minutes of the September 20, 2000 meeting <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows. <br />Aye: Adams, Garner, Hincks, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauk <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Public Works Director Kenny Cole gave the Board an update on the Phase II <br />Water Project. He told the Board that as of October 31, 2000, all surveying, and <br />preliminary designs have been completed, along with the preliminary USDA -RD <br />construction documents. It is anticipated that the plans will be submitted for regulatory <br />
