MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. I APRIL 6, 1998 A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. I was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, / North Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of the Lee County Board of v Commissioners held on said data Commissioners.present were Jimmie M. Cox, F. Hubert Garner, T. Ervin Mansfield. Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. Paschal and Robert T. Reives. Commissioner J. Douglas Moretz was absent. Chairperson Matthews presided and Gaynell M. Lee, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, acted as Secretary of the meeting. Chairperson Matthews asked the Board to consider water expansion refunds and requests. Commissioner Garner moved the above item be added to the agenda. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Ave: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews. Paschal and Reives Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which consisted of the following item: • Minutes of the January 5, 1998 meeting Commissioner Rcives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Ave: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews. Paschal and Rcives Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered a change order to McMahan Brothers Pipeline in the amount of $19,987.75. Public Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board the change order was due to the hydraulic improvements being made by the City of Sanford. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the change order in the amount of $19,987.75 to McMahan Brothers Pipelines Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows:
