Alm <br />® BOD< 1~ ~'I,S~ 15 21 4 <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />#ft######rt##ktti##rtrt#ti#tii#rt#4##4#trt##i##itrtrt##############i##rtkk+i##rt <br />NOVEMBER 17, 1997 <br />#########rt#####kt##krt#krt#f##krtrtrtrtki#4##rt##########rtrti##rt###kkkkk####kii <br />A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. <br />1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of the Lee <br />County Board of Commissioners held on said date. Commissioners present were Jimmie <br />M. Cox; F. Hubert Garner; T. Ervin Mansfield; Bertha L. Matthews; J. Douglas Moretz; <br />Nathan E. Paschal and Robert T. Reives. <br />Chairman Garner presided and Gaynell M. Beal, Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners, acted as Secretary of the meeting. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which <br />consisted of the following item: <br />• minutes of the September 22, 1997 meeting <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered tap refunds to customers outside the Phase I Water System <br />limits. Public Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board his department had overlooked <br />customers located on Edwards Road, Sheriff Watson Road and Walker Road that were <br />due tap refunds. After some discussion, Commission Cox moved to approve tape refunds <br />to customers that are now outside the Phase I system limits, a copy of which is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Paschal seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />
