Alm ® BOD< 1~ ~'I,S~ 15 21 4 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 #ft######rt##ktti##rtrt#ti#tii#rt#4##4#trt##i##itrtrt##############i##rtkk+i##rt NOVEMBER 17, 1997 #########rt#####kt##krt#krt#f##krtrtrtrtki#4##rt##########rtrti##rt###kkkkk####kii A meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners held on said date. Commissioners present were Jimmie M. Cox; F. Hubert Garner; T. Ervin Mansfield; Bertha L. Matthews; J. Douglas Moretz; Nathan E. Paschal and Robert T. Reives. Chairman Garner presided and Gaynell M. Beal, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, acted as Secretary of the meeting. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, which consisted of the following item: • minutes of the September 22, 1997 meeting Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered tap refunds to customers outside the Phase I Water System limits. Public Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board his department had overlooked customers located on Edwards Road, Sheriff Watson Road and Walker Road that were due tap refunds. After some discussion, Commission Cox moved to approve tape refunds to customers that are now outside the Phase I system limits, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives Nay: None
