NO 15 Ru 960 <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY <br />OF <br />LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />FEBRUARY 20, 1995 <br />A special meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water <br />and Sewer District No. 1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee <br />J County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North <br />Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of the Lee County <br />Board of Commissioners held on said date pursuant to the call of the <br />Chairman. Commissioners Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. <br />Hubert Garner; J. Douglas Moretz; and Gordon A. Wicker were present. <br />Commissioners Robert T. Reives and William C. Stafford, Jr. were <br />absent. <br />Mr. F. Hubert Garner, Chairman, presided and Mrs. Gaynell M. <br />Beal, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, acted as Secretary of the <br />meeting. <br />The Secretary presented to the meeting the original call issued <br />by the Chairman and she was instructed to attach a copy of the call <br />to the minutes of this meeting. <br />The Board considered the minutes from the February 6, 1995, <br />meeting. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the minutes as the <br />official record of said meeting. Chairman Garner seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives and Stafford <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairman recognized County Attorney K. R. Hoyle who <br />explained that Farmers Home Administration requires a legal services <br />agreement (per FmHA Instruction 1943-A) and provides a form for such <br />purpose which the Board will need to consider and approve. After <br />some discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the Legal <br />Services Agreement as explained by Mr. Hoyle. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />1 <br />
