NO 15 Ru 960 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF LEE COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FEBRUARY 20, 1995 A special meeting of the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 was held in the Commissioners' Room, Lee J County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, immediately following the regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners held on said date pursuant to the call of the Chairman. Commissioners Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. Douglas Moretz; and Gordon A. Wicker were present. Commissioners Robert T. Reives and William C. Stafford, Jr. were absent. Mr. F. Hubert Garner, Chairman, presided and Mrs. Gaynell M. Beal, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, acted as Secretary of the meeting. The Secretary presented to the meeting the original call issued by the Chairman and she was instructed to attach a copy of the call to the minutes of this meeting. The Board considered the minutes from the February 6, 1995, meeting. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Chairman Garner seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz and Wicker Nay: None Absent: Reives and Stafford The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Chairman recognized County Attorney K. R. Hoyle who explained that Farmers Home Administration requires a legal services agreement (per FmHA Instruction 1943-A) and provides a form for such purpose which the Board will need to consider and approve. After some discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the Legal Services Agreement as explained by Mr. Hoyle.
