M. , with.'the,following members of the Board present <br /> for the dispatch of business: <br /> Commissioners Sion H. Kelly, Clyde J. Atkins, Ralph Groce, <br /> Percy Measamer and Evender Winstead. <br /> Commissioner Sion H. Kelly, Chairman of the Board, presided and <br /> ' the following business was transacted: <br /> The minutes of the regular meeting of March.7, 1960, were read <br /> and approved. <br /> On motion of Commissioner Measamer, which motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Groce, a road petition submitted by C. C. Craig was <br /> unanimously adopted. Said road located in West Sanford Township, runs <br /> from McNeill Road to another portion of the McNeill Road which is known <br /> as the Craig Road Mail• Route. <br /> • <br /> • . On motion of Commissioner Winstead, which motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Measamer, a petition to pave Denada Path, submitted by <br /> Frank G. Perry, was unanimously adopted. <br /> On motion of Commissioner Measamer, 'which motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Atkins, a road petition submitted by J. L. Johnson for <br /> paving the Johnson Road in Deep River Township was unanimously approved. <br /> On motion of Commissioner Groce, which motion was seconded by <br /> Commissioner Measamer, a road petition submitted by J. R. Lanier , <br /> seeking the pavement of the Lees Chapel Road in Cape Fear Township, was <br /> unanimously adopted. • <br /> Miss Mary Estelle Doyle, County Home Economics Agent, presented <br /> her monthly report. <br /> K. S.• Harmon, County Farm Agent, presented the monthly report <br /> of the County Agent's Office. <br /> E. P. Clarke, custodian of the 'courthouse, reported on the condition <br /> of all county buildings. <br /> D. F. Holder, Sheriff, presented the monthly report of the Sheriff's <br /> Department., <br /> W. D. Gregson, Veteran's Service Officer, presented the monthly <br /> report of the Veteran' s Service Office. <br /> • <br /> Mrs. Nette B. Keith, Register of Deeds, presented a. report of the <br /> collection of fees by the Office of the Register of Deeds for the month of <br /> March, 1960. <br />
