• <br /> MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> April' 19, 1960 . <br /> The Board of Commissioners of Lee County met in special session <br /> in the Commissioners' Room at the courthouse on Tuesday, April 19, <br /> 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. , pursuant,to a notice of adjournment of • <br /> the regular meeting of April 4, 1960, following members of the Board <br /> •present for the dispatch of-business: <br /> • <br /> Commissioners Sion H. Kelly, Clyde J. Atkins, Evander Winstead, <br /> Ralph Groce and Percy Measamer. <br /> • <br /> Commissioner Sion H. Kelly, Chairman of the Board, presided <br /> • and the following business was transacted: <br /> The Chairman read a letter from King Roofing & Manufacturing <br /> Company setting forth their findings with respect to an inspection of the <br /> roof of the courthouse annex. It appeared that leaks had developed and <br /> that it was necessary to correct the situation in order to prevent sub- <br /> stantial water damage. After full discussion of the proposal it was <br /> unanimously resolved that King Roofing & Manufacturing Company be <br /> authorized and directed to pe}'form the necessary work at a cost of <br /> $623. 00, and that the work budgeted in the Budget for the 1960-61 <br /> fiscal year. Other matters were discussed on which no formal action was <br /> taken.
