Poop 6 PACE 363 <br /> MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FOR LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> MONDAY, 2 AUGUST 1965 <br /> 0 <br /> The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee <br /> convened in the Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Courthouse at 10:00 o'clock <br /> A.M. on Monday, August 2nd, 1965. Those present were Vice-Chairman Charles Robert <br /> Yow and Commissioners Sion H. Kelly, J. T. Ledwell and Max McLeod. Chairman <br /> John E. Dotterer was absent. <br /> Vice-Chairman Charles Robert Yow presided and the following business was <br /> transacted: <br /> The meeting was opened by prayer given by Reverend Clay Farrell, Pastor <br /> of Grace's Chapel Christian Church. <br /> The advisory committee on insurance appeared before the Board. Each <br /> member of the committee gave a report on a phase of the insurance program. Following <br /> discussion between the members of the Board and the committeemen, Commissioner <br /> McLeod moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule of values of <br /> buildings and contents be adopted for insurance purposes: <br /> LOCATION STRUCTURE CONTENTS <br /> Armory 198, 392.00 <br /> Library 57, 308.00 38,000.00 <br /> Courthouse 325,401.00 49,737.00 <br /> County Home 75, 914.00 <br /> Health Center 23, 364.00 7,423.00 <br /> Courthouse Annex 81, 362.00 4,689.00 <br /> Jail 158,657.00 2, 000.00 <br /> Welfare Department 6,427.00 <br /> TOTALS $ 920,398.00 $ 108,276.00 <br /> 90% of Total $ 925, 806.00 <br /> Commissioner Kelly seconded the motion and upon a roll vote it was unanimously adopted <br /> as follows: <br /> AYE: Kelly, Ledwell, McLeod and Yow <br /> NAY: None <br /> There was further discussion about the insurance program and Commissioner <br /> Ledwell moved the adoption of the following: <br />
