'Mono present were Chairman John E. barterer, <br /> and Commissioners Sion H. Kelly, J. T. Ledwell, Max h4cLeod, and (Merles Robert <br /> Y . None of the Coeami:suianers were absent. <br /> Chairman John E. L`cuterer presided as&the following business was <br /> transacted: <br /> The minutest of the sneetinz held on March 7, 1966 were approved and <br /> ordered recorded.. <br /> Messrs. H. C. Mace, Allen iiridges, and Glenn Griffin, licensed <br /> electrical contractors, and Air. Francis Willett of Carolina Power & Light Company, <br /> appeared before the Board and expressed their appreciation for the appointment of an <br /> electrical inspector. Mr. 1. ::ce, the spokesman for the ,group, advised the Board the <br /> minor difficulties occasioned by Initiating the system bad been corrected. <br /> A delegation from Deep River Township appeared before the board in <br /> support of constructing the bridge on $econdnry Road 1425 over the Seaboard kthroad <br /> right of way. Mr. J. L. Stewart of the Maintenance Department, State Hip'way Commission <br /> appeared at the request of the Board. After hearing the delegation, reviewing the priority <br /> schedule, and discussion between the members of the Board, Commissioner Kelly moved <br /> that the construction of the bridge out of bond funds for secondary road purpovs be <br /> approved. There has ao Immediate second and Chairman flutterer relinquished the Chair <br /> to Vice-Chairman Vow, and secnn&d the motion. The question wan moved and Vice- <br /> Chairman Vow called fors roll call vete. The motion was unanimously adopted aM; follows: <br /> "LYE: Kelly, Ledwell, McLeod, Cotterer and Yow <br /> MAY: None <br /> Dr. Dotterer rosumbed the Chair and announced the next item on the agenda <br /> was opening bids for an electronic computing machine.
