T <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />HONORING REGISTER OF DEEDS MOLLIE MCINNIS <br />WHEREAS, Mollie McInnis was hired on June 27,1977 as Lee County Deputy Register of Deeds; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. McInnis was promoted to Assistant Register of Deeds on August 1, 1987; and <br />WHEREAS, in February 1990, Ms. McInnis achieved the designation of Certified Assistant <br />Register of Deeds by the North Carolina Association of Register of Deeds; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 6, 2004, Ms. McInnis was elected by the voters of Lee County as <br />Register of Deeds, and was re-elected in November 2008, and again in November 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. McInnis will retire from Lee County Government effective December 1, 2014 as <br />Lee County Register of Deeds with thirty-seven years of service; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to recognize the <br />achievements of Ms. McInnis and to express its appreciation for her dedicated service and <br />significant contributions to Lee County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County, North <br />Carolina, that it congratulates Ms. Mollie McInnis for a career of public service which has been <br />characterized by a genuine interest in and concern for Lee County and it wishes her continued <br />success in all her future endeavors. <br />Adopted and presented this 3' day of November 2014. <br />ATTEST: <br />ay ell .
