'7:00 *o'clock p, m;, on Monday, July 18,, 1977. Those present when the meeting opened were Commissioners. William H. Cooper,- Clyde J. Rhyne and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioners John E. Dotterer and Franklin D. Wicker joined the meeting while it'was in progress. Chairman'WiUiam H. Cooper presided and the following business was' transacted: The meeting was opened by prayer given by K. R. Hoyle, County l Attorney.'. The minutes of the meeting .of July 5, '1977, were approved and, ordered recorded, upon motion'of Commissioner Rhyne, seconded by Commiss- ioner Gordon A.' Wicker', which motion was unanimously adopted. Coirimissi6ner John.E. Dotterer joined the meeting and participated in the.fuither deliberationsof the, Board. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker discussed road matters generally and calledthe Board's attention to the'fact that representatives of the Department of. Transportation would be present at the meeting, Mrs, Beatrice Fields, County Finance Officer, appeared before the Board and discussed amendments to the 1977-78 Budget. While Mrs. Fields was making her'pre.'--ntation, Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker joined in the meeting and he participated in the further deliberations of the Board. Mrs. Fields explained that the majority of the budget amendments were self-balancing items to record fund balances which would be expended during.the coming year. Comm- issioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the 1977-78 budget be amended as follows: 1. In.the Lee County Schools -Capital' Reserve Fund, that the expenditures be shown as $549, 315. 00 and the Revenue be amended, to show a fund-balance of $549, 315, 00 from.the Lee County Scholl Capital' Reserve Fund. Z.. That'the'Manpower Consortium Title II Fund be amended to show expenditures of $82,271.00 and Revenue in the,amount of,$82,271.00, which will lie received from the Manpower Consortium, v 3. That the Manpower Consortium Title VI Fund be amended to s1,6w expenditures in the amount of $191,'806. 00 and Revenue in the amount of $191,-806. 00 to bereceived from the Manpower Consortium. 4. That the San-Lee Recreation and Educational Park Fund be amended to-reflect expenditures in the amount of $178, 655. 00 and Revenues as follows:,. A fund balance oi'$55, 055. 00 and an EDA Grant of. $123, 600. 00. -
