'T Cl <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />>x*~i'c~'m yF~x'm'T mT~=%xm ~ ~ ~=n ~~X<~k~x Yf=.=~x %xmmmm;;::x T:x ~;:.r m%v r <br />Monday, March 20, 1978 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners Room on <br />the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, on Monday, March 20, 1978, at 7 o'clock p, m. Those <br />present were Commissioners William H. Cooper, John E. Dotterer, Clyde <br />J. Rhyne, Franklin D. Wicker and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman William <br />H. Cooper presided and the following business was transacted: <br />The meeting was opened by prayer given by the Reverend John <br />Alexander, Pastor of Edgewood Presbyterian Church, <br />The minutes of the meetings held on March 6th and 13th, 1978, <br />were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner Gordon <br />A. Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne, which motion was <br />unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne introduced Miss Sharon Albertson, <br />Forest Ranger for Lee County. <br />The resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of Lee County <br />Hospital, Inc., on March 13, 1978, was read to the Board by the Clerk. A <br />certified copy of the resolution is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br />Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne moved the adoption of a <br />resolution designating Chairman William H. Cooper as the Board's repre- <br />sentative to file the application for approval of $12, 300, 000. 00 hospital <br />bonds and to authorize the County Attorney to employ bond counsel.
