Those <br />present were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer, and Bertha L. Matthews. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer declared a quorum present and the meeting open <br />for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by K. R. Hoyle, the County Attorney. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, <br />January 6, 1986, were considered and upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond, seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., were adopted by <br />a unanimous vote as the official minutes of said meeting and ordered recorded. <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the Central Carolina <br />Technical College be authorized to negotiate for a three year lease for a site <br />for their small business center in the Southern National Bank building on Wicker <br />Street, with the proviso that the County Maintenance Department would prepare <br />and fix the space for use and utilities and taxes on the site would be paid on a <br />pro rata basis, based upon the space occupied and with the further proviso that <br />funding for furniture at the site and clerical assistance would be available on <br />July 1, 1986. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />
