LEE COU <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION <br />TO APPROVE <br />LEE COUNTY'S REVISED PERSONNEL POLICY <br />2006 <br />WHEREAS, it is important that the County of Lee establish basic employment practice <br />standards for the benefit of its employees, and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County as a part of the FY 2005/06 work plan issued directives for revision of <br />the Personnel Policy, and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department revised the current Personnel Policy, and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Policy was revised in consideration of adherence to all applicable <br />employment laws, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that previous policies and directives in conflict with the <br />provisions of this policy are hereby repealed, and <br />FURTHER. BE IT RESOLVED, that the Emergency Management Director and the Fire Marshal <br />shall be subject to Section 3.7 of policy number B -4, and <br />FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, this policy shall become effective July 1, 2006 and thereafter <br />shall be revised as needed upon recommendation of the Human Resources Director. <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lee County Board of Commissioners do hereby adopt this <br />revised Personnel Policy. <br />Adopted this 1g` day of June 2006. <br />i <br />Herbert A.
