pni 886 <br />~o~ 15 (1 n l- <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />DECEMBER 5, 1994 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:00 A.M. in the <br />Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present <br />were John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha L. Matthews; <br />J Nathan E. Paschal; Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and <br />Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairperson Matthews presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the November 21, <br />1994, meeting. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the minutes as <br />the official record of said meeting. Upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no old business to come before the Board, <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to recess the meeting to the Lee County <br />Courthouse for the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected County <br />Commissioners and reception. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The meeting reconvened in Courtroom No. 2, Second Floor, Lee <br />County Courthouse, 1400 S. Horner Boulevard, Sanford, North Carolina, <br />at 9:30 A.M. for the purpose of inducting into office the officials <br />1 <br />
