CROis --�Z <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION <br />ENDORSING TARPO ROAD PROJECTS <br />IDENTIFIED FOR CONSIDERATION IN NCDOT PRIORITIZATION 4.0 <br />WHEREAS, Lee County/City of Sanford/Town of Broadway is a member of the Triangle Area Rural <br />Planning Organization (TARPO), which performs transportation planning in Chatham, Lee, Moore, and <br />Orange Counties; and, <br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has established the Prioritization 4.0 <br />process to identify, score, and select transportation projects for funding in the 2018-2027 Statewide <br />Transportation Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has given the Triangle Area Rural <br />Planning Organization the authority to select projects to be submitted for funding consideration; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization has established a Prioritization <br />Subcommittee to develop a draft list of projects to be submitted for Prioritization 4.0; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization has requested endorsement of this draft <br />project list by its local government partners in the region; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Joint Planning Commission has given due consideration to the draft list of projects <br />recommended by the Prioritization Subcommittee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br />attached draft Prioritization 4.0 Project <br />Organization Prioritization Subcommittee. <br />Adopted this 5th day of October 2015. <br />ATTEST: <br />ayvhefl M.
