Bou 20 PAGF 752 LEE COUNTY Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT BETWEEN LEE COUNTY AND COECO THAT WHEREAS, the County of Lee desires to upgrade the County's copiers and printers through a comprehensive multi-functional copier/printing cost per copy program; and WHEREAS, the County of Lee has previously disseminated requests for proposals in connection with the cost per copy program; and WHEREAS, the County of Lee has published a Request for Proposal in a local newspaper, and WHEREAS, pursuant to such requests the County of Lee has now received sealed bids from CEI, Copiers Plus, Inc., COECO Office Systems, Fayetteville Business Solutions, and Tereck Office Solutions; and WHEREAS, such bids have been reviewed by the appropriate representatives of the County of Lee; and WHEREAS, the bid received from Tereck Office Solutions was unsealed; and WHEREAS, the bid received from Copiers Plus, Inc. arrived late; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that COECO Office Systems is a responsible entity and the bid submitted by it is responsive; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee considers it in the best interest of the County to proceed with the acceptance of the bid of COECO Office Systems for a comprehensive multi-functional copier/printing cost per copy program, and to award the subject bid to said entity and to make provisions for execution of all documents necessary in order to effectuate such award: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee that the bid for a comprehensive multi-functional copier/printing cost per copy program pursuant to all of those terms and conditions contained in the County's request for proposal shall be and the same is hereby awarded to COECO Office Systems and that the appropriate representatives of the County of Lee shall prepare and otherwise provide all necessary contract documents and issue required forms in order to effectuate such award, and that the County Manager of the County of Lee shall be and he is hereby authorized to execute said documents on behalf of the County of Lee upon review and approval thereof by the County Attorney of said County.
