BOOK 20 PAGE <br />COMMISSIONER VOTED FOR <br />Adams <br />Adams <br />Brown <br />Brown <br />Hincks <br />Adams <br />Lemmond <br />Brown <br />Paschal <br />Brown <br />Reives <br />Brown <br />Stevens <br />Adams <br />Mr. Hoyle announced that Commissioner Brown had received four votes and <br />Commissioner Adams had received three votes, and therefore Commissioner Robert H. <br />Brown had been elected Vice-Chairman for the coming year by a four to three vote. <br />The Board considered a resolution fixing time, date, and place of regular <br />meetings. Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve a resolution to hold meetings on <br />the first and third Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Attorney Hoyle ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County <br />Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board each year the Board of Commissioners is required <br />by General Statute to examine bonds for the following employees: <br />• Sheriff ($25,000) <br />• Register of Deeds ($50,000) <br />• Every other officer of the county who is required by law to give a <br />bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office, <br />which are the following: <br />1. Tax Administrator ($100,000) <br />2. Finance Officer ($100,000) <br />3. Any employee who handles $100.00 or more at anyone time <br />Commissioner Stevens moved to approve bonds as recommended by the County <br />Attorney. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Attorney Hoyle ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered changes/additions to the agenda. Chairman Hincks asked <br />that the Board discuss the agreement with Lobbyist Capitol Link; Commissioner <br />
