A study will be completed of the time-line for the project and <br />discussion will take place with the State to talk about what happened to cause this <br />project to take approximately eighteen months to complete. <br />The Board considered a resolution submitted by the Board of Elections Office to <br />combine two precincts for the Municipal Elections on November 8, 2005. Commissioner <br />Lemmond and Elections Director Nancy Kimble discussed the resolution and stated that <br />members of the Board of Elections have already approved and executed the required <br />resolution. Once the Commissioners approve the resolution, it will be forwarded to the <br />State for final approval. Commissioner Paschal moved to endorse the resolution <br />presented by the Lee County Board of Elections to combine two of the voting precincts <br />for the November 8, 2005 Municipal Election, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: <br />Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: <br />None <br />Absent: <br />Stevens <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered appointments to the Lee County Housing Appeals Board. <br />After some discussion, it was decided to advertise for interested applicants and finalize <br />appointments at the October 17, 2005 meeting. <br />The Board considered appointments to the Triangle J Council of Governments' <br />Water Resources Advisory Committee. Chairman Hincks nominated Assistant County <br />Manager Kenny Cole as the regular member to this Committee, and Parks and <br />Recreation Director John Payne as the alternate member.
