D. Knight Construction and Knight Septic Tank & <br />Grading spoke to the Board during the "Public Comments" section of the meeting <br />concerning a need for a landfill or dump site to dispose of mixed yard debris other than <br />the current landfill on Sanders Road, which is located in southern Lee County. Mr. <br />Knight stated that the tipping fees in Lee County are too high, added to the high gas <br />prices, and the distance haulers have to travel (from northern Lee County) to the current <br />landfill. He further requested a flat tipping fee for tractor trailers, tri-axles, and tandem <br />2 <br />
