Brooks, located at 7009 Old Jefferson Davis Highway. Ms. Prather stated that Mr. Brooks owns a 774 acre tract of land at 7009 Old Jefferson Davis Highway that has been divided by the construction of the new US Highway #1. The property is ideally suitable for a monopole wireless telecommunications tower and equipment facility because of the rural, wooded area, and excellent location. Ms. Prather further stated that the Board will need to address the following four (4) findings: (1) That the use will not materially endanger the public health or safety if located where proposed and developed according to the application and plan as submitted and approved; (2) That the use meets all required conditions and specifications, (3) That the use will not substantially injure the value of the adjoining or abutting property, or that the use is a public necessity; and (4) That the location and character of the use, if developed according to the application and plan submitted and approved, will be in harmony with the area in which it is to be located and in general conformity with the Sanford-Lee County 2020 Land Use Plan. • No one present spoke in favor of or in opposition to the petition. Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing. Chairman Hincks stated that action would be taken on the above two hearings at the Commissioners August 15, 2005 meeting. With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Brown moved to adjourn the meeting.
