Brooks, <br />located at 7009 Old Jefferson Davis Highway. <br />Ms. Prather stated that Mr. Brooks owns a 774 acre tract of land at 7009 Old Jefferson <br />Davis Highway that has been divided by the construction of the new US Highway #1. The <br />property is ideally suitable for a monopole wireless telecommunications tower and equipment <br />facility because of the rural, wooded area, and excellent location. <br />Ms. Prather further stated that the Board will need to address the following four (4) <br />findings: <br />(1) That the use will not materially endanger the public health or safety if located where <br />proposed and developed according to the application and plan as submitted and <br />approved; <br />(2) That the use meets all required conditions and specifications, <br />(3) That the use will not substantially injure the value of the adjoining or abutting <br />property, or that the use is a public necessity; and <br />(4) That the location and character of the use, if developed according to the <br />application and plan submitted and approved, will be in harmony with the area <br />in which it is to be located and in general conformity with the Sanford-Lee County <br />2020 Land Use Plan. <br />• <br />No one present spoke in favor of or in opposition to the petition. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearing. <br />Chairman Hincks stated that action would be taken on the above two hearings at the <br />Commissioners August 15, 2005 meeting. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Brown moved to <br />adjourn the meeting.
