PACE V~ <br />• (4) Such other documents as Lee County Community Development Office, its attorney shall deem necessary <br />to protect the City and to insure no liens or prospective liens are encumbering the real property <br />hereinabove described. <br />(b) Warrants materials to be of the quality required by the specifications described in the work write-up. <br />(c) All alterations or deviations from the specifications of labor or material involving changes in costs must be <br />authorized in writing by a Change Order approved by Lee County Community Development Office. <br />(d) In all cases he shall leave the work in a finished condition as determined by acceptable building standards and <br />Lee County Community Development Office. <br />(e) That all his employees shall be covered fully by Workmen's Compensation Insurance as required by State law. <br />(1) He will furnish evidence of comprehensive liability coverage protecting the owner in the event of bodily injury <br />including death, $300,000 each person; and in the event of property damage arising out of work performed by <br />said Contractor, $100,000 each accident. <br />2. The Owner has agreed in the formal application: <br />(a) That he will permit the Contractor to use, at no extra costs, existing utilities, such as light, heat, power and <br />• water necessary to carrying out the completion of the work. <br />(b) He will cooperate with the Contractor to facilitate the performance of the work, including the removal and <br />replacement of rugs, coverings, and furniture, if necessary. <br />The bid and proposal shall be accepted or rejected by Lee County Community Development Office within sixty (60) days from <br />the date a bid is received, provided that no work shall be commenced by the Contractor until he has received a written <br />Proceed Order from Lee County Community Development Office. <br />4. Legal Remedies Provision: Work shall begin no later than ten (10) days after the Proceed Order is issued. All work shall be <br />satisfactorily completed within the time frame specified in the Proceed Order. It is further agreed that if the proposed <br />improvements are not complete within the specified number of days, Lee County Community Development Office shall have <br />the option to withhold the sum of $50 (Fifty dollars and no/100 ) per day as liquidated damages from the total <br />contract price. <br />S. The work will be warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of final inspection of all work required by the <br />Contract. Furthermore, the Contractor will furnish Lee County Community Development Office with all manufacturers and <br />suppliers written guarantees and warranties covering materials and equipment furnished under this Contract. <br />6. The Contractor will permit Lee County Community Development Office or its designee to examine and inspect all <br />• rehabilitation work. <br />WORK CON'IRAC-I <br />
