0 Aft <br />GUJ'i "20" P'LF 468 'W <br />in an attempt to reach a consensual resolution regarding the disposition of the sales, <br />proceeds, and the trust account. The County Attorney and the Tax Administrator both <br />recommended agreeing to this procedure. Commissioner Adams moved that the <br />Chairman be delegated authority to act for and on behalf of the Board in agreeing for a <br />procedure to resolve the dispute with RBC Centura Bank and to negotiate and settle the <br />dispute with said bank on terms he finds to be just and equitable and in keeping with the <br />law and facts. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to table the item concerning an animal control <br />agreement with the City of Sanford until the County Manager and City Manager could <br />meet and discuss the matter more in detail. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a voting delegate for the 98th NCACC Annual Conference <br />to be held in Charlotte in August. Commissioner Adams moved to appoint Chairman <br />Hincks as the voting delegate for the NCACC Annual Conference. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Stevens stated that at the last meeting she made a motion to <br />appoint April Montgomery to replace Tracy McIver on the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission. Since that meeting she has talked with Parks and Recreation Commission <br />member Mike Cole who has served two terms and is willing to come off the commission <br />so Tracy McIver can serve another term. After some discussion, Commissioner Stevens <br />moved to re-appoint Tracy McIver to the Parks and Recreation Commission in Mike <br />Cole's position. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lenunond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />6 <br />
