2008. After some discussion, Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the amended <br />Lease Agreement with the Broadway Optimist Club for ball field maintenance, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board on a text <br />amendment to the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance. Assistant Community <br />Development Director Marshall Downey told the Board that the Planning Board <br />recommended approval of amended subdivision regulations due to the sale of the water <br />system to the City of Sanford. Chairman Hincks moved to approve the text amendment <br />to the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a rezoning petition for Ms. Eva Jean Morrow to rezone <br />2.36 acres of land at 201 Amos Bridges Road from Residential Restricted district to <br />Highway Commercial district. Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the rezoning <br />petition for Ms. Eva Jean Morrow, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board asked County Manager David Smitherman, Public Works Director- <br />Assistant County Manager Kenny Cole, and Assistant Community Development Director <br />Marshall Downey to keep the Board informed of the drainage concerns pertaining to <br />property on Amos Bridges Road. They also asked that the city engineer be asked to look <br />at DOT plans concerning the drainage issues on Amos Bridges Road and confirm the <br />plans will work. <br />The Board considered a Preliminary Plat of Kenwood Subdivision to be located <br />off of County Line Road. Mr. Downey told the Board this would be a 56-lot subdivision <br />5 <br />
