County Manger David Smitherman asked the Board to consider payment of invoices to the Timmons Group for a recent water study that:vdas in excess of the $20,000 agreement between the Timmons Group and the County of Lee. Mr. Smitherman also asked the Board to consider the release of $403,861 from the Public School Building Capital Fund. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the above additions to the agenda. Upon a vote. the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Brown, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the consent agenda which consisted of the following items: • Minutes of the January 26, 2005 closed session • Minutes of the February 21, 2005 closed session • Minutes of the February 21, 2005 regular meeting • Minutes of the February 28, 2005 special meeting • Tax Releases and Refunds for February 2005 (copy attached) • Approval to fill the following vacancies in Social Services and Youth Services: 1. Processing Assistant III-Work First Family Assistance Unit 2. Processing Assistant IV-Child Support Unit 3. Residential Child Care Workers, plus add these positions as "time sensitive positions'-Hil[crest Youth Shelter 4. Supervisory vacancy in Adult Services Unit-Social Services • Reappointments to the Lee County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council • Emergency Management matters: 1. 2005 Homeland Security Grant - $225.000 2. 2005 Hazardous Materials Emergency Planning Grant - $5,000 3.
