Commissioner Nielsen <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Funderburke, Nielsen, Rhyne, <br />Wicker and Harmon voted for it. <br />The Board next considered the requirement for adding maternity <br />care to its contract with Blue Cross, Blue Shield, as mandated by Federal guide- <br />lines. Commissioner Nielsen moved to authorize the Finance Officer to expend <br />the amount of $1.13 per individual coverage under the County's health insurance <br />program, to add the mandated coverages for maternity care. Commissioner <br />Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Funderburke, Nielsen, <br />Rhyne, Wicker and Harmon voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />The Board next considered what, if any, raises would be provided <br />for County employees and after a thorough discussion, Commissioner Nielsen <br />moved that the County Departments and Agencies.be instructed to include in their <br />budget request a 57b across the board cost of living increase for all County employ- <br />ees. Commissioner Gordon A.
