Bag . 9 OAsf 4260 <br />Commissioner Gordon.A. Wicker discussed the operations of <br />the Public Health Department. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke told the Board of the efforts <br />made to repair the dog warden's truck and of the search to determine if a surplus <br />vehicle was available through the State of North Carolina. Commissioner Wicker <br />moved that Commissioner Funderburke be authorized to prepare specification for <br />a suitable vehicle and that when such specifications were available that advertise- <br />ment be made for bids for a vehicle for use by the dog warden. The motion was <br />duly seconded and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Nielsen reported that Lee County Industries would <br />be constructing a new building on a site donated by Mr. P. K. Buchanan. <br />Commissioner Gordon A.
