SERVICES AND GOODS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE PRINCIPAL <br />INVESTIGATOR AND STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOWED <br />BY THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: <br />The Principal Investigator (PI) will conduct the investigations in accordance with the <br />objectives and work stages defined in the Project Abstract and set forth in the Project <br />Description and Contract Section B "Project Objectives and Scope of Work." All work <br />shall be consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for <br />Archaeology and Historic Preservation. The PI shall ensure that any personnel employed <br />for field or laboratory supervisors must meet the Professional Qualifications Standards <br />set forth by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior, in 36 CFR Part 61 <br />(Federal Register, September 29, 1983). <br />The PI shall seek and obtain from the Office of State Archaeology (OSA) any and all <br />information currently available in the files of the OSA which may be pertinent to the <br />effective completion of the project. <br />The PI shall seek and obtain from the OSA blank archaeological site forms for all sites <br />identified during the project. <br />The PI shall prepare and submit reports to the OSA and shall obtain OSA review and <br />approval of the reports in accordance with the following and in strict accordance with the <br />Time-Product-Payment Schedule. <br />(1) Interim Report. Within ten (10) days after the completion of the fieldwork, the PI <br />shall prepare and submit to the OSA a brief Interim Project Report on the grant activities <br />to date. The report shall note any significant results or findings of the project, specific <br />problems encountered during the work, recommendations or requests for any <br />amendments to the terms of the Project Description and Contract, and the projected <br />schedule for project completion if different from that defined by the Project Description <br />and Contract. <br />(2) Draft Final Report. Within sixty (60) days after the completion of the fieldwork, <br />the PI shall prepare and submit to the OSA a complete double-spaced draft report <br />summarizing the analyses and results. The report shall include but not be limited to the <br />following: <br />(a) Abstract: containing summary information on the objectives and results of the <br />project; <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
