BK - 00025 PG. <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />TOWN HALL COMMUNITY MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />BROADWAY COMMUNITY CENTER <br />BROADWAY ROAD <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA <br />JUNE 27, 2013 <br />The Town Hall Community meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 7 p.m., at the Broadway Community Center located <br />on Broadway Road, Broadway, North Carolina, on said date for the purpose of receiving input <br />from citizens on the Lee County Economic Strategic Plan. Commissioners present were Amy <br />M. Dalrymple, Charles T. Parks, Kirk D. Smith, and James K. Womack. County Manager John <br />Crumpton was also present. A total of 20 citizens, including Commissioners and staff were in <br />attendance. <br />Chairman Parks welcomed everyone and explained that the Commissioners were <br />looking for input from businesses and private citizens on the Economic Strategic Plan that will <br />be finalized in August. <br />Mr. Dan Parks from Small Business & Technology Center (SBTDC) presented <br />information previously collected from Commissioners and citizens of Lee County prior to the <br />last county election in November. Graphs and charts showing collected data were shared and <br />discussed.
