006 <br />Commissioner Smith moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the <br />following items: <br />• Minutes from the May 28, May 29, May 30, May 31, June 3, <br />and June 4, 2013 budget work sessions, <br />• Minutes from the June 3, 2013 regular meeting, and <br />• Tax Releases and Refunds for May 2013 (copy attached). <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Dalrymple and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />No one signed up to speak during the Public Comments section of the meeting. <br />The Board considered a Resolution added at the beginning of the meeting to extend the <br />Interlocal Agreements with the City of Sanford. County Manager John Crumpton stated legal <br />staff were still reviewing and working on the Interlocal Agreements between the City of Sanford <br />and Lee County for Planning and Zoning, Inspections, Tax Collections, GIS, Animal Control <br />and Joint Planning. He asked the Board to approve a Resolution extending the Interlocal <br />Agreements for 90 days or until such time that both Boards have approved Agreements. <br />Commissioner Womack moved to approve a Resolution of the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners Extending Interlocal Agreements with the City of Sanford, a copy of which is <br />attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dalrymple joined the meeting during the above discussion. <br />The Board considered a request from Mr. Joel Ammons for a Fireworks Permit for a <br />July 4 th event at Sanford Health & Rehab, 2702 Farrell Road, Sanford. Mr. Ammons provided <br />all required insurance and license paperwork along with a letter from the Lee County Fire <br />Marshal's office. Commissioner Frazier moved to approve the Fireworks Permit for Mr. Joel <br />Ammons to conduct a fireworks display on July 4 th as presented, a copy of which is attached to <br />these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof.
