Mr. Spivey presented his 5 -year CIP <br />Plan and discussed proposed projects. <br />Solid Waste Superintendent Joe Cherry discussed the Solid Waste Fund which includes <br />three (3) sources of revenue which are (1) household collection fees which is currently $85 per <br />household but proposed to increase to $90 per household this year, (2) convenience center <br />revenue which is currently $42.50 per household and proposed to increase to $45.00 this year, <br />and (3) waste disposal fees which was the pickup from the schools — and will be eliminated <br />this year. Miscellaneous revenue for the sale of recycled materials is also received. The only <br />expenses in the Solid Waste Fund is salaries for four (4) staff and twenty -seven (27) part -time <br />convenience center workers who are paid minimum wage. <br />' he t budget work session adjourned at 4:35 p.m. <br />0 A Al". <br />Charles T.
