BOOK 9 *[517 <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne, seconded <br />by Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, the Board went into Executive Session <br />to consider a Personnel matter. Following the completion of the Executive <br />Session, Commissioner Nielsen moved that the Executive Session be con- <br />cluded and that the regular session be resumed. Commissioner Rhyne <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously adopted, it <br />was resolved to submit the following names to the Forest Service as the <br />recommended persons for the Forest Ranger job in Lee County <br />Victor Glendon Johnson <br />James C. Collins <br />Elizabeth B. Simmons <br />The statement of Clyde Burge for appraising the old Library <br />building on Steele Street, was approved for payment, upon motion of Comm- <br />issioner Clyde J. Rhyne, seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, <br />which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The Board next considered the use of some of the County <br />vehicles. It was resolved to assign the Library vehicle to the Tax Supervisor <br />for use in his department and make use of the Maintenance Department van <br />available to the Library and that any vehicles surplus to the County's need be <br />reported in order that they might be sold. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, <br />it was adjourned. <br />
