L~ <br />At 7:35 <br />BOOK 9 PKE547 <br />o'clock, P.M., the Chairman of the <br />Board of Commissioners announced that the Board would hear <br />anyone who wished tobe heard on the questions of the <br />validity of the school bond order and the advisability of <br />issuing the bonds. At the direction of the Chairman, the <br />Clerk read the bond order and published-notice of hearing. <br />After the Board had heard all persons who requested <br />to be heard, Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that the <br />public hearing be closed. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke and was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that the <br />Board of Commissioners adopt without change or amendment . <br />and direct the Clerk to publish as prescribed by The Local <br />Government Bond Act the bond order entitled, ."Bond Order <br />authorizing the issuance of $7,700,000 School Bonds of the <br />County of Lee", introduced at the meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners held on August 23, 1979. The motion was <br />seconded byCommissioner Jack D. Funderburkeand was adopted <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: FUNDERBURKE, NIELSEN, RHYNE <br />NAYS: NONE <br />ABSENT: HARMON, WICKER <br />
