BOOB PAGE 5K~ <br />seconded by Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne, and unanimously adopted upon a vote, <br />that henceforth all wrecked vehicles were to be taken to the County Maintenance De- <br />partment, preferably by the County's wrecker, and that bids will be solicited for <br />repair work. <br />The request of the Manager of Duke's Drive-In, for information con- <br />cerning refuge pick ups in his area, was referred to the Sanitation Department. <br />The Board next considered the matter of the employment of an <br />architect for the work to be done at the Lee County Jail, in order to comply with <br />State regulations. Upon motion of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, seconded by <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, it was unanimously resolved to go into Executive <br />Session. Following the Executive Session, Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that <br />the Executive Session be closed . Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne <br />moved that the Board employ Mr. Derrell Mullins, as Architect, to work with the <br />Jail Committee to determine what work needs to be done in order to comply with <br />State regulations. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />It was then moved that the meeting adjourn in keeping with the previous <br />motion to set the time for adjournment.
