Jeff- <br />erson Ward, Commissioner, to Lee County, dated July 28, <br />1972, and recorded in Book 235, page 170, Lee County <br />Registry,` to which deed reference is hereby made for a <br />more perfect description. <br />(c) All of Lots 22, 23, 24, and 25, in the <br />Sun-Set Hills Subdivision, being the property conveyed by <br />F. Jefferson Ward, Commissioner, to Lee County, by deed <br />dated December 1, 1977, and recorded in Book 288, page <br />2731 Lee County Registry, to which deed reference is hereby <br />made for a more perfect description. <br />(d) All of Lots 54, 56 and 57, as shown on <br />Map Book 3, pages 80 and 81, being the property conveyed <br />by Jimmy L. Love, Commissioner, to Lee County, by deed <br />dated December 1, 1977, and recorded in Book 293, page 125, <br />Lee County Registry, to which deed reference is hereby made <br />for a more perfect description. <br />(e) All of Lots 235-238, in the Sun-Set Hills <br />Subdivision, being the property conveyed by Dennis A. Wicker, <br />Commissioner, to Lee County, by deed dated February 24, <br />1979, and recorded in Book 299, page 22, Lee County Registry, <br />to which deed reference is hereby made for a more perfect <br />description. <br />(f) All of Lots 44a, 45a, 46a, and 47a, in <br />Section 2, Forest Wood Park Subdivision, and being the <br />property conveyed by Dennis A. Wicker, Commissioner, to <br />Lee County, by deed dated December 12, 1978, and recorded <br />in Book 297, page 519, Lee County Registry, to which deed <br />reference is hereby made for a more perfect description. <br />2. The Clerk is authorized to receive in the Board of <br />Commissioners behalf, bids at public auction for the purchase <br />of the described property. <br />3. The public auction will be held on Friday, November <br />2, 1979, at 11:00 a. m. , at Lee County Courthouse. The terms <br />of sale shall be cash. <br />4. The Clerk shall cause a notice of the public auction to <br />be published in accordance with G. S. 160A-270(a). <br />5. The person making the highest bid shall deposit with <br />the Finance Officer an amount equal to 5% of the bid. <br />6. The highest bid shall be reported to the Board of <br />Commissioners and must be accepted and confirmed by the <br />Board of Commissioners before the sale will be final. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the appointment of a representative to the <br />Area Planning Advisory Committee for Title XX. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen <br />nominated Mrs. Louise Groome for the position. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke <br />moved to close the nominations and to elect Mrs. Groome to the position, by <br />acclamation. The motion was duly seconded and upon a vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />
